Our innovative ammonia-powered engines offer a carbon-free alternative to traditional diesel-powered systems, suitable for a wide range of industries and applications.
UNIQUENESS OF THE PRODUCT
• Anhydrous ammonia has no carbon so when burnt produces no CO2
• Applications can still use IC engines without emissions, without inflationary pressure fromother green technologies
• Marine can still use the IC engine technology
• Producing Clean power at point of use for EV charging
• Transport will not need the electric charging infrastructure
• Renewable energy can be used to produce green ammonia
• Construction equipment can decarbonise without the need for inefficient battery electric
• Ammotto does not have any direct competition as it is the only company to have successfully
used ammonia as a single source fuel in IC engines that produces zero emission. Others have
used a dual fuel system, and they still use 20-40 % hydrocarbon as such, they only achieve
anything between 70% – 80% reduction in carbon and other pollutants. Other competition
comes from Hydrogen engines such as JCB or Cummins, however they have high fuel costs
and the inherent problem of hydrogen storage as previously mentioned.
• We may also face competition from hydrogen fuel cells however they again rely on high
purity hydrogen have much higher initial purchase price and short lifespan, making these
inflationary.
• Other possible competition may come from small Nuclear reactors and micro-grids, however
these may be decades from being a reality, will face stiff opposition in local planning and
know doubt be expensive.

Ammonia as an Energy Carrier Not only is ammonia a powerful fuel for our engines, but it also has potential as a long-term energy storage solution. We are exploring new ways to use ammonia in energy storage applications to create a sustainable energy ecosystem.
Many believe the answer to the world’s energy problem is Hydrogen, the problem with Hydrogen is it is
difficult to store and transport. It either has to be stored at very high pressure (700 bar) in heavy and
expensive cylinders, or it can be liquefied by cooling to -230 C and has to be allowed to vent to
atmosphere, either option requires significant amounts of energy which is what makes hydrogen
expensive.
Converting green hydrogen to green ammonia and has universally been adopted by plants producing green
hydrogen as the only practical solution to storing and transportation. This makes ammonia considerably
less expensive. Our Engines can use liquid ammonia directly from storage tanks making ammonia and our
engines very cost effective. to compete directly with diesel while removing millions of tons of C02 every
year.

Data centers are the backbone of the digital age, and our ammonia-powered engines offer a sustainable way to ensure uninterrupted power, even during outages. Our technology eliminates reliance on polluting diesel generators and unreliable battery storage.

At Ammotto, we don’t just aim to meet today’s energy demands – we aim to do it in a way that protects the planet for future generations. Every product we offer is designed to be part of a sustainable energy ecosystem.
